My lights are made using either kiln'slumped' or fused glass combined with welded steel for the supporting structure, both of which are integral to the design of the piece. Some of my textured glass light facades are achieved through slumping sheet glass over steel mesh. The mesh is coated in a special plaster based mixture, this helps prevent the glass sticking to the mesh at high temperatures.
